Changelog
Recent updates, features, and improvements to the platform.
Riftbound Card Database
- addShow every Riftbound printing in the card pool — standard, alternate art, overnumbered, signature, and promo runs each get their own tile with its set, collector number, variant, and rarity. Open any card to see every printing side by side, with artist credits and a full-size artwork viewer.
- improvePick the exact Riftbound printing — set, art variant, and promo run — when adding a card to your trade list.
Riftbound Card Filters
- improveShow live match counts beside every pool filter — zones, type, rarity, domain, set, and edition — so you can see how many cards each choice would leave.
- improveList every search field in the Syntax panel by its full name and abbreviation — cost/mv, rarity/r, setid/s, cardtype/t, keywords/k, and the rest — and add a “Click to insert” hint. Clicking a field drops it into the search box at your cursor.
Riftbound Card Search
- addGive the Riftbound card pool a real query language. Combine clauses with spaces, choose between them with or, group them with parentheses, negate anything with -, compare numbers with = != > >= < <= (or ≥ ≤ ≠), and quote values that contain spaces — so `t:Spell c:Fury cost<=3` and `(t:Unit or t:Gear) -tag:Dragon` both work. The new Syntax button beside the search box lists every operator, runs a few example searches on click, and inserts any field at your cursor.
- improveKeep the card filters and the search box in step. With “Write filter picks into the search box” on, picking a type, rarity, domain, or set writes that clause into your query and editing the query moves the dropdowns; turn it off to filter each side independently. Searches now live in the address bar, so you can share a filtered pool or come back to it after a reload.
- breakRepurpose the `c` prefix in the Riftbound card search from cost to color, matching Scryfall. Search for cost with `cost` or `energy` instead — `c>=4` becomes `cost>=4`.
Store Owners
- fixLet store owners add and edit weekly events again. Event management was blocked for every owner who claimed their store through a claim link — the permission check read a profile flag that never got set, so the address and hours were editable but events were not.
- addAdd a setup checklist to the store dashboard. After claiming a store, a short checklist tracks the four things that make a listing useful — a description, contact details, address and hours, and one weekly event — and fills itself in as you save. It disappears once everything is done.
- improveSpell out what claiming a store gets you before you click, so it's clear the claim link is the last step rather than the whole process.
Trading
- improveShow card artwork across Trading — your own list, Trade matches, and the read-only list on player profiles. Click any thumbnail to view the full-size card, and hit Escape or click outside to dismiss it.
Trading
- addAdd Trading: list the cards you have for trade and the cards you're looking for, per game (Riftbound and My Little Pony, including art variants). See Trade matches with other players whose lists line up with yours and connect through friend requests. Lists are visible to friends and can be marked Public, show read-only on player profiles, and export any selection to plain text via the Export menu.
One Deck Builder, Every Game
- improveUnify the Riftbound and My Little Pony deck builders behind one modern interface — the same toolbar, card grid, deck panel, and save flow — while each game keeps its own rules and features (Runes and Chosen Champions, Scene decks and art variants). The deck panel's status now shows Valid only when the game's rules confirm it, or a hoverable Warning tag when something needs attention, alongside an Official rules link.
Find friends
- improveRename the People page to Find friends at /find-friends, with /people redirecting to it.
My Saved Decks
- addOpen every deck you've saved in one place: a new My Saved Decks page lists decks from all your games — filterable by game — with a view-only preview (click any card image to view it fullscreen), rename, Public, delete, and Open in builder; the deck builders' "View saved decks" link now opens it filtered to that game, and the My Tools menu gains a My Saved Decks link whenever you have saved decks.
Saved Riftbound Decks
- addManage saved Riftbound decks on a dedicated page: preview each list with its Legend, Chosen Champion, card art, and deck counts, rename it in place, toggle Public, reopen it in the builder, or delete it.
- breakMove the Riftbound Deck Builder from /deckbuilder to /riftbound-deckbuilder; the old address redirects to the new one.
Friends
- addAdd friends: find players on the new People page, send a friend request with an optional note, and manage everything from a Friends page with Review, Sent, and Friends tabs. Accept or decline incoming requests, cancel the ones you sent, and unfriend anyone at any time — a pending request shows as a limited profile card until it's accepted.
- addSee a player's friend count on their profile and add them right from it. Your account menu shows a Friends item with a badge counting pending requests.
- improveFriends unlock a private profile: once a request is accepted, you can view that player's games and match history even when their profile is private.
iCal Calendar Links
- addLink an iCal calendar feed to any store you manage, scoped to a single venue or to all of them. See every feed attached to the store at a glance, with its last sync time and any error it hit, and remove a feed whenever you need to.
Store Addresses on the Dashboard
- addAdd locations and hours to any store you manage: enter a street address, city, state, postal code, and contact details, set opening hours for each day, and mark which location is primary. The first address you add becomes the primary one automatically, and every location can be edited later from the same page.
- improveLeave a day's opening hours blank to mean "no hours listed" instead of "closed", and tell the two apart on a store's public page.
Search Stores, Cities, and Games
- addAdd smart search to the header and mobile menu: as you type, see grouped suggestions for stores, cities, games, and categories, with your recent searches remembered. Pick a suggestion to jump straight to a store page, game, or filtered store directory.
My Little Pony Deck Builder
- addAdd a deck builder for the My Little Pony TCG: browse and filter the card pool (set, type, rarity, keywords, cost, inspiration), pick a printing per card, and build a deck in four zones — one Main Character, a Story, a 50-card Main Deck, and a 15-card Scene Deck (max 4 copies each), validated against tournament rules with a live legal / in-progress badge.
- addSave decks to your account and manage them on a Saved Decks page (rename, mark Public, delete, reopen via deep link). Linked from the MLP TCG game page and the My Tools menu.
Riftbound Deck Builder
- addGrow the Riftbound deck builder into a full tool: filter the gallery by zone (Legend, Champion, Main Deck, Battlefields, Sideboard, Runes) with the Champion list limited to units matching your Legend, zoom any card's art fullscreen from the detail modal, and keep a tall deck reachable with a scrollable sidebar.
- improveUpgrade card search into a smart query engine: type multiple words in any order ("vex apathetic" now finds Vex - Apathetic), punctuation is ignored (kaisa matches Kai'Sa), and nearby typos are tolerated. Add structured filters like cost>=4, set:unl, r:rare, d:shadow, a:artist, text:stun, and prefix a term with - to exclude it (-legend, -vex). Type aliases work inline (rune, spell, battlefield, champion, sig). Results with a text query rank by relevance, with name matches first.
- addExport a deck as a shareable Piltover Archive deck code (via @piltoverarchive/riftbound-deck-codes, with Chosen Champion and runes) or as a plain text card list that pastes into TCG Arena. Promo cards (OPP, JDG, PR) that the code format can't represent are skipped with a note, and deck lists include each card's code (e.g. "3 Card Name [UNL-116]") for importers.
- addSave decks to your account (sign-in required): name and save a deck, then load or delete it from the sidebar anytime. Decks store a versioned card snapshot with your Chosen Champion.
- addAdd a My Tools menu: tools for the games you selected under Games I play now show in the account menu and the Quick Actions floating button (Riftbound Deck Builder, with more to come).
- breakChange what the 40-card count means: it now covers Main Deck cards only, with the Legend and Battlefields in their own sidebar sections. Battlefields cap at 3, and Runes allow unlimited copies of a single rune (bounded only by the 12-rune total).
Game Tracking & Mobile UX Evolution
Refining match recording and store visits with a focus on powerful tracking and a smooth mobile experience.
- addTrack games and store visits end to end: a Check-In flow for logging a visit and the games played, a dedicated Log Game Result flow for match outcomes, a Game History timeline at /game-history, and a Visit History page at /visits for viewing and editing past logs — all reachable from the header dropdown and a nested History section in the ActionMenu.
- addControl who sees your match history: profile-level privacy defaults for game results, deck lists, and match notes, plus per-game visibility overrides when logging or editing a match. Public profiles show logged results with a 'View more' list (5 initial, 10 per load), and private deck or note sections are hidden entirely.
- addLet store owners claim their listing and manage it: one-click claiming from the store page, an invite-only flow where admins generate a one-time claim link per store (persisted on /admin/claims so a lost link can be recopied) and uninvited visitors are pointed to hello@lgsnear.me, plus an owner dashboard at /dashboard to edit profile, contact details, categories, games, amenities, per-location hours, and recurring weekly events (with sync-safe overrides for calendar-fed events).
- breakSplit the store-owner dashboard back onto /dashboard and make /admin-dashboard an admin-only console for store management (search, create, edit, archive) and claim review.
- addRiftbound Deck Builder at /deckbuilder using the Riftcodex API: search and filter the full card pool and build a deck (exactly 1 Legend, a Chosen Champion Unit matched to its Legend, up to 12 runes, soft validation), auto-saved in the browser and surfaced as a community tool card on game title pages.
- improvePolish the shell: Karla as the primary typeface, direct Sign out on the Profile page, and an ActionMenu rebuilt for mobile with safe-area support, a magnetic hover effect on the diamond icon, and Z-index fixes against the Store Orbit visualization.
- addChangelog page to track project progress (this page!).
Store Directory & Orbit Visualization
The foundation of the platform: finding where to play.
- addComprehensive store directory with search and filtering by game title.
- addInteractive 3D "Store Orbit" visualization on the homepage.
- addSupport for major TCGs including Magic, Pokemon, One Piece, etc.
- improveDark mode support across all core pages.
